Pakistan has defeated India first time in T20 World Cup history. Pakistan chased 152 without any loss. This was best ever victory of Pakistan ever against India in history.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to ball. India’s start was not good as Shaheen Shah Afridi got Rohit Sharma out in very first over at Zero. Then in his next over he also sent KL Rahul back to pavilion. Then Hassan got Suryakumar Yadav and India were 31/3 at that time. India could score 151/7 with Kohli’s 57. Shaheen Shah took 3 wickets and Hassan hunt 2. Muhammad Rizwan also took his 100th catch in T20 matches.

Pakistan start was excellent. Muhammad Rizwan and Babar Azam started very carefully and keep the scoreboard ticking by singles and doubles when boundaries were not coming easily. Their responsible batting gave India ‘no chance’ to get a wicket and Pakistan chased the score comfortably in 18th over.

Pakistan never beat India by 10 wickets and this victory came after 29 years in World Cup games. Excellent start by Green Shirts and hope this will continue in next games.
