WC Match-2, WI gave a historical defeat to Pakistan
In second match of World Cup 2019, West Indies defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets chasing the score in just 13.4 overs. WI won the toss and elected to field first. Pakistan batting line collapsed badly and all team got out in 21.4 overs on just 105 runs. Only 4 batsmen could enter in double figure and top scorer were Fakhar and Babar who scored 22 each.

WI chased score in just 13.4 overs with Gayle 50(34). Amir took 3 wickets but these were in vain because there was nothing on scoreboard to defend. Short balls by WI pace battery did all for Pakistan batting lineup. Further every batsman was trying to hit it out of ground which increased chance of losing wicket and that happened with every man there.
Pakistan scored its second lowest score of Mega Event history. Chris Gayle broken the record of most sixes in World Cup with 40 sixes. Previously this record was with AB Devellier with 37 sixes.
Thomas took 4 wickets for 27 runs and got Man of the Match award.
