Yasir Shah 113 – A Slap for Batting Line and Selectors
Last test of 2 test match series between Pakistan and Australia ends up with a White Wash for Pakistan. Australia won the series by 2-0 with innings defeat for Pakistan in both matches.

Pakistan scored 1116 runs and faced 2080 balls in 4 innings of both tests while Yasir Shah alone scored 184 (16.5%) and faced 377 (18.12%) out of it.
Yasir Shah batting performance raised question on Pakistan batting line and team management that a No. 8 player who is not even a recognized all-rounder is performing better than 7 specialist batsmen of the team. Further this performance of Yasir Shah was not 1 innings performance, infact he battled in all 4 innings teaching a lesson to batsmen how to stay on wicket.
Azhar Ali and Iftikhar Ahmed scored total 62 runs and 44 run in their 4 innings respectively while Imam ul Haq scored total 2 runs in 2 innings.
Poor batting performance along with low quality bowling by Pakistan pace battery shared in this White Wash. If a proper test batsman (Misbah ul Haq) who played in most recent conditions is unable to select a proper test squad then his ability is under question.
