England defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in second T20 International. England won the toss and elected to ball first. Pakistan scored 195 in 20 overs while England chased it in 19.1 overs.

Pakistan scored a decent total with superb batting of Hafeez and Captain Babar Azam 69(36) & 54(44) respectively. Adil Rasheed took 2 wickets. England chased the total with outstanding partnership of 112 runs between captain Morgan and Malan. Morgan scored 66(33) and was given Man of the Match. Malan scored 56(44). Shadab Khan took 3 wickets.

Pakistan bowling line didnt worked properly but more important was the weak captaincy. Bowlers were not bowling in line with the field setting. Part time bower Iftikhar who was there to cover Amir’s over was given extra over which cost 18 runs. Amir was given second over after his poor first over. When Shadab got both set batsmen out in 2 balls then next over was given to a part timer rather than to give it to a main bowler to increase pressure. In short, no doubt Babar is world class batsman but he dont have captancy mind yet. If he is given this burden which he cannot afford then his batting class main affect.
